Drama Queen SignSome people really are doing my head in lately. When you tell them NOT to call you, they ring the phone off your hook, and when you ask them to call you, they never do :-(

And even in Second Life, when you ask them to contact you, they don’t respond to you until AFTER you log off, but when you set yourself to busy, it seems like veryone in SL is trying to get a hold of you…

I think this is a good example-case of reverse psychology in action. Just tell people to contact you asap, and they will never call you back. Ow, I wish that was true for some people.

I think By now, my SL Brother, Hechicero Blanco, Must think the same. When people SHOULD contact him, they don’t, and when he is busy or not in the mood, it seems like everyone is trying to get a hold of him. I imagine he’s getting upset, and since he is (was?) a PDSL Commander, he’s getting bugged even more. I know his past experience in similar -real life- situation, he handled well. But even though Linden Labs tries to tell you otherwise, Second Life is NOTHING like the real thing.

dramaOk, you might get some great friends, yet you might meet some sort of **Drama Queen** or someone develops to become one. I think Hechicero agrees on this point here. We’ve recently seen someone become one, and it’s not a prety sight. Even my SL Wife (RL Girlfriend, from the UK), who usually kinda easily can coop with all sort of BS, had something like “WTF”? A good friend of ours is becoming a spoilt brat and drama queen. He thinks we’re doing all his stuff in as riubbis, but nothing is further from truth then that. He can build great stuff, it’s just that it’s too Prim heavy (<< Prim heavy; using more prims then needed to complete a task. Red.). I haven’t seen something of his hand that is Fugly or anything, it’s just slurping resources. whether it’s prim heavy or sculpty-heavy, it always looks good… But when you manage a Sim, like my good ‘ol friend Hech (and with help from me), you gotta take all prims into account.

Friendship and compromises… A mix that can or can’t work?

To be continued….
